RETAIL DEVELOPMENT
In 2006, Smith Levenson began working with Easlan Capital of Atlanta, Inc. as an analyst, development assistant, and property manager.
Since then he has served Easlan in investment sales, underwriting, development management, leasing, and property management. In 2007, Mr. Levenson helped to form a joint venture with Fannie Mae and Morgan Stanley, funded up to $40 million, for market rate and HUD d(4) apartment development around the Southeast. In 2012, Mr. Levenson took over the Retail Development division of Easlan Capital of Atlanta, Inc.. He has underwritten and developed over 200,000 SF of retail, 1,000 multifamily units, and numerous other projects across product classes. He has experience in all phases of Retail Development, from acquisition to disposition, including: zoning, design, permitting, underwriting, capital sourcing, construction management, leasing, and property management.
